Cutting edge IB programs make education exciting – we learn through play.
The Early Years programmes take students aged two-and-a-half to five, in spaces dedicated to study and play. Large and luminous, our classrooms help youngest children in their education and their creative activities.
The educational activities use the internal and external spaces of our structure and offer experiences aimed at stimulating students’ interest in order to achieve more effective learning. Children are encouraged to cultivate a positive attitude towards study that will bear fruit throughout their lives.
The classes are in English and are divided into two phases:
- Kindergarten (3 - 4 years old).
- Transition (4 - 5 years old).

Our IB programs inspire and motivate every student to develop to their full potential.
From the age of two-and-a-half to the age of 11, students at the International School of Monza follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), a programme based on inquiry which places the child at the centre of the learning process, enabling him/her to acquire all the concepts proposed.
In an active and stimulating study environment, our students face up to significant themes and subjects. They are encouraged to act, applying what they study and learn, even outside the school, in their daily activities.
In the new IS Monza Campus, large and splendid classrooms are dedicated to PYP students: luminous, well-equipped spaces, with WIFI access and interactive whiteboards, a big library with traditional and multimedia texts for ICT learning. Many class activities take place, all designed to stimulate students’ curiosity so that, with the help of their teachers, they can acquire skills and security in every activity.

The Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate prepares students to face the challenges of the future. It concentrates on developing the whole student, inside and outside the classroom.
